Hello Everyone,
I know many of you have asked about our salon, school and team in San Diego since it opened last year. Well, I am pleased to tell you, all is going very well in the California Sunshine! The Salon is welcoming many new clients every day and we are on the cusp of launching the Foundation Course (US Licensing), so all very exciting. As for the team, I cannont begin to tell you what a great bunch they really are! So as their first feature on the Saco blog, we've posted a picture of Tom & Kelly - truly handsome fellows!
As some of you may know, we are blessed and proud to have some of the world's most talented stylist working with us at Saco - none more so than Leila Karalic, a stylist based in our London salon. Leila is not only a talented and creative stylist in-salon but also works Fashion Weeks in London, Paris & Milan.

So, it has been a very busy and inspiring beginning of this year for me, from booked up columns in the salon, creative workshops in the evenings and all the Fashion Weeks and things that come with it, that I thought I just had to share that with you and let you know what I have been up to when I have been out and about!
It is however difficult to take some good photos backstage, either because you simply don't have time and every single little hand backstage is working really hard, or, by time you remember the whole thing is already over, or all the models have buggered off for rehersal and there is nothing to photograph! :)
That's when us (the naughty team) refuel ourselves by starting to take silly photographs and documentaries of each other until all our stomach muscles are aching from laughter and your eye-liner now goes across half of your face instead of just complimenting the corner of your eye then we munch on all the delicious food that is being served before finishing off the day with bundles of champagne feeling very proud over the days achievements! I thought it would be great to share some images from our recent trip to Japan. Charmaine and I spent just over a week conducting a series of seminars and shows in Tokyo, Toyama and Nagoya. The shows in Tokyo were at the Takara World Beauty Show, an invitation event designed to showcase the Takara corporation and its affiliates. Having strong ties with TBM (Takara's beauty arm) we were delighted to attend the event, sharing ideas and inspirations from Saco' latest collection - Dollhouse. After Tokyo, the TBM instructors (with whom Saco works with closely) met with the team and models to conduct 3 seminars at beauty schools in Toyama and Nagoya. We received a truly wonderful welcome from all the students - and a fun time was had by all. A big thank you to all the team in Japan for all their help!
